Prayer Chain
Alma Merriman
The prayer chain is a group of parishioners who have taken on the ministry of praying for people in a time of crisis or need (such as surgery, illness, etc.). Please see the prayer chain tab if you would like to contact the prayer chain.
 
Altar Guild
Carole Abshier
The Altar Guild is responsible for storing, preparing and removing worship items from the Sanctuary for services, including candles and linens. They are also charged with the preparation and disposal of communion bread, wafers, and wine.
 
Heavenly Hands Knitting Group
The Knitting Group consists of parishioners who donate their time and skills to provide prayer shawls and other linens for the church and for others.
 
Parish Nurses
Laura Jansen and Laura Williams
Parish Nurses is comprised of Nurses (active and retired) who are members of Holy Cross. These volunteers provide information, screenings, and outreach to those who may be confined at home for a period of time. Contact the church or one of the nurses for further information.
 
Visiting EM's
Visiting Eucharistic Ministers are licensed to visit those who are shut-in or hospitalized and provide prayer and communion.
 
Landscaping & Gardening
Christine Jamieson
This group of volunteers assists during the non-winter months with the appearance of church grounds. Volunteers design, clean, plant, and maintain the flower beds, herb gardens, shrubbery, and outdoor meditative space. If you have a green thumb or simpy enjoy God's gift of nature, join us.
 
Men's Fellowship Group
Lewis Williams
The Men's Fellowship Group offers an opportunity for members of Holy Cross to gather for fellowship and service. Non-members are also welcome to join us. We gather at least once a month at various local restaurants to share light-hearted banter, laughter, or serious discussion along with breakfast or lunch. We will occasionally choose a project peforming needed work or volunteering our time at Holy Cross and in the community, using the various skills with which God has individually blessed us. Participation is totally voluntary.
